The "Relevance Studies in Poland" series accommodates selected papers written by the participants of the biennial conference "Interpreting for Relevance: Discourse and Translation" held in Kazimierz Dolny. This volume consists of two parts. Part I presents papers dealing with translation problems, such as rendering biblical texts in contemporary languages, cultural barriers, omissions, proper names, and requirements of legal translation.
